SSEN’s involvement in the UK’s largest domestic flexibility study

In June 2021, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks joined the project led by the National Grid. The initiative is called CrowdFlex and it is the largest domestic flexibility study that has ever taken place in the UK. More than 25,000 households will participate in it. The goal of the project is to investigate how households can use low carbon technologies. It will encourage customers to try out green solutions like electric vehicles or heat pumps.
